Emilio Costales is a Senior Lecturer in Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Greenwich's Greenwich Business School and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh-Napier’s Innovation Policy Lab.

- B.A. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University
Research examines social entrepreneurship's role in sustainable urban development, using systems theory and ethnography to analyze inclusive city ecosystems. Methodologies include autoethnography, diary studies, and netnography to explore community engagement.
Professional experience includes ideation consultancy for student ventures (£50k funding support) and research assistance on £1M+ projects. Certified in Carbon Literacy and Fellow of the Ivey Sustainability Academy.
