Dr. Abby Luck Parish is an Associate Professor and Executive Director of Educator Initiatives at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She holds a DNP from the University of Tennessee and MSN/BSN degrees from Vanderbilt University and Lipscomb University respectively. Her academic roles include teaching in MSN and DNP programs and leading educator development initiatives.
Her research focuses on geriatric nursing, primary care nursing, and nursing education innovations. Key interests include dementia care, mental health in aging populations, telehealth applications during public health crises, and improving clinical education through cognitive science principles.
Dr. Parish has received notable recognition including Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FNAP) and awards from the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA).
