Aaron J. Sams is an Assistant Professor of Education at Saint Vincent College, where he teaches courses in STEM education, educational psychology, and pedagogical strategies for K-12 educators. His research focuses on STEM Education, Educational Technology, and the Flipped Classroom methodology, with a particular interest in policy frameworks and classical education models. Dr. Sams holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction in STEM Education from Texas Tech University, an M.A.Ed. in Classroom Instruction, and a B.S. in Biochemistry, both from Biola University.
He previously served as a high school chemistry teacher and now trains future educators through courses like Teaching of Science for Secondary Students and Interdisciplinary STEM Approaches. Beyond academia, he consults globally with educational institutions and has co-authored books on flipped classroom strategies. His work emphasizes practical applications of technology and policy in education.
