Bo Idsardi

Bo Idsardi is an Associate Professor of Biology Education and Director of Science Education Programs at Eastern Washington University. His work focuses on K-12 teacher preparation, undergraduate STEM pedagogy, and active learning strategies. He holds positions in the College of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics.

Research Interests:

Explores the intersection of teacher resilience and resource availability in STEM education, evaluates flipped classroom efficacy in undergraduate settings, integrates authentic research experiences into K-12 curricula, and examines alignment between instructors' teaching practices and student learning theories. Active in developing STEM education frameworks that emphasize evidence-based pedagogical approaches.
