Aaron Clanton is the Bakers National Education Foundation (BNEF) Instructor at Kansas State University's Department of Grain Science and Industry. He joined the university in 2019 after 20 years in grain-based food production, combining academic and industry expertise. His roles include teaching the full AIB International Baking Curriculum, specializing in bread, bun, cake, cookie, and cracker production.

Clanton’s research emphasizes ingredient functionality, bakery process optimization, and troubleshooting global bakery operations. He previously worked at Kellogg Company and Interstate Brands Corporation, developing over 25 new bread and roll products launched in the US market. His work integrates scientific principles with practical industry applications to enhance food production systems.
