Assoc. Prof. Ayse Yenilmez Turkoğlu holds a PhD in Primary Education from Middle East Technical University (2013) and currently serves as Associate Professor at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University's Faculty of Education, Department of Mathematics and Science Education. She previously held roles including Research Assistant at Sinop University and Deputy Director of Research and Application Center (2015-2017). Her research focuses on science education pedagogy, socio-scientific issues, STEM integration, and teacher training. She has led over 15 research projects including TÜBİTAK-funded initiatives on STEM education programs and science festivals. Notable contributions include developing educational models for nuclear energy literacy and investigating pre-service teachers' understanding of scientific models. She actively participates in international conferences and has authored book chapters on constructivist approaches and alternative assessment methods. Her work emphasizes bridging science education with societal issues through innovative teaching strategies.
