Assoc. Prof. Didem Turkoğlu is an academic at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University's Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Child Development. She holds administrative roles including Vice Dean (2021–present) and Department Head (2019–2021). Her academic journey includes a PhD in Preschool Education from Gazi University (2019), an MA in Preschool Education (2013), and a BSc in Preschool Teaching (2011). She has served as a Research Assistant at multiple institutions including Gazi University and Dicle University.
Her research focuses on child development, early childhood education, music in education, and digital media's impact on children. Key interests include assessment tools for auditory development, creative movement, and preschool teacher training. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Eurasian Education and Culture and the International Online Journal of Education & Teaching.
Prof. Turkoğlu has organized academic events including the 5th International Preschool Education Congress and delivered lectures on topics like empathy in early childhood and pandemic-era child emotional health. Her professional development includes certifications in qualitative data analysis (NVivo) and children's yoga instruction.
