Assoc. Prof. Dr. ALİ SIDKI AĞAZADE is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Sciences at Eastern Mediterranean University's Faculty of Education. His academic background includes a PhD in Educational Sciences from Middle East Technical University (1993-2001), an MA in English Teaching from Bilkent University (1993), and a BA in English Linguistics from Hacettepe University (1987).
His research focuses on educational measurement and evaluation, curriculum analysis, teacher training, and cross-cultural studies. Notable projects include evaluating the 6th-grade social studies curriculum using Parlett and Hamilton's model, investigating critical thinking dispositions among pre-service teachers, and analyzing the impact of cooperative learning approaches in science education.
He has supervised numerous theses, including studies on vocabulary learning strategies, emotional intelligence in language testing, and leadership styles in primary schools. Current ongoing research explores teachers' perceptions of school leadership and professional motivation.
