Pascal Le Boeuf is an Assistant Professor of the Practice in Music Technology at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music, and a Ph.D. candidate in music composition at Princeton University. He holds a dual role as a GRAMMY-nominated composer and jazz pianist, known for blending traditional composition with electronic and production-based technologies. Education: Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Music Composition at Princeton University. Formerly part of the Harold W. Dodds Honorific Fellowship program. Research focuses on hybridizing classical chamber music with modern production techniques, as seen in works like Triple Concerto and Out of the Gate . His creative output spans compositions for orchestras, chamber ensembles, and electronic media, often incorporating improvisational elements. Awards: GRAMMY nomination, 2008 Emmy for King Lines , and top honor in the 2008 International Songwriting Competition. His work has been performed by ensembles like Alarm Will Sound and Nu Deco Ensemble. Performance and Production: Active keyboardist for artists like D'Angelo and Clean Bandit, and producer for figures such as Annika Socolofsky and Iarla Ó Lionáird. Leads projects including his trio Pascal's Triangle and collaborates with groups like the Akropolis Reed Quintet.
