Associate Clinical Professor
Tatyana Gurvich serves as Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. With over a decade of experience, she operates as a geriatric clinical pharmacologist and preceptor at the USC Mann/UCI Medical Center Senior Health Clinic, a collaborative geriatric primary care practice. Her educational credentials include: PharmD from the University of Southern California BS from the University of Southern California Dr. Gurvich specializes in geriatric pharmacology with expertise spanning telemedicine applications, polypharmacy management, interdisciplinary education models, and dementia pharmacotherapy. Her work emphasizes developing integrated teaching frameworks that bridge pharmacy and medical education to enhance geriatric care delivery. She actively supervises pharmacy students and residents while precepting medical students during clinical rotations. Funded by the Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program, her community outreach initiatives include opioid crisis response through safe pain management education for providers and patients. Dr. Gurvich operates within the Senior Health Clinic's interdisciplinary team, coordinating telemedicine services and pharmacotherapy recommendations for geriatric patients across clinical and community settings.
