William Neukomm

William Neukomm is Professor of Foundation Studies at Savannah College of Art and Design. He holds an M.F.A. in Painting from Laguna College of Art and Design and a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Kansas City Art Institute, supplemented by a painting certificate from The Florence Academy of Art.

An accomplished contemporary realist painter, Neukomm exhibits nationally and internationally. His recognitions include multiple awards from the Portrait Society of America and Art Renewal Center. Neukomm maintains active membership in professional organizations including the California Art Club and Oil Painters of America.

Prior to SCAD, he taught at Laguna College of Art + Design, Saddleback College, and Brigham Young University. His professional background includes graphic design for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
