Jennifer Hallsey

Jennifer Hallsey is a Professor in the Foundation Studies department at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) since 2016, with prior roles in jewelry instruction (2017–2018). Her academic background includes an M.F.A. and M.A. in jewelry and objects, and a B.F.A. in painting from SCAD.

Research Interests: Hallsey specializes in jewelry design, metal arts, and contemporary craft. Her work explores intersections of materials, form, and conceptual art, as evidenced by her exhibitions in national juried shows and collaborations with SCAD galleries.

Awards & Recognitions: She has received multiple accolades, including the Silver Award at the International Design Awards (2016), Atlanta Jewelry Show distinctions, and scholarships for academic excellence, such as the SCAD Graduate Honors Scholarship (2015).
