Tom LaPann

Tom LaPann is an Associate Professor at the School of Fine and Performing Arts, Northwest Missouri State University. He joined the university in 2018 and teaches introductory and advanced courses in 3D design, sculpture, and jewelry-making, alongside mentoring senior art students.

His research focuses on artistic material innovation and creative processes. His academic interests span drawing, painting, programming, and traditional crafts like metal casting and woodworking. Prior to his current role, he served as an instructor at Southeastern Louisiana University (2014-2018) and Louisiana State University (2012-2013).
