Simone Wies is a Professor of Marketing Strategy & Performance at Goethe University Frankfurt, where she also serves as Director of the Ph.D. Marketing Track in the Graduate School of Economics, Finance, and Management. Her research focuses on empirical modeling of marketing effectiveness, financial dynamics of marketing strategies, and strategic innovation management, particularly in digitalization-driven areas like the creator economy and new venture creation. She previously held roles as Assistant Professor at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE and Post-Doctoral Researcher at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate, graduate, and MBA programs, alongside supervising bachelor's and master's theses. Her team includes research assistants Paul Hilfrich, Jessica Knauß, and Dorian Petrich, supported by administrative officer Stephanie Entrup.
