Robin Mosher

Robin Mosher served as Instructor Emeritus at Kansas State University's Department of English within the College of Arts and Sciences. She earned her B.A. in English from Washburn University (1975) and M.A. in English from Kansas State University (1983, Creative Writing emphasis). With 39 years of service (1980–2020), she held roles including Graduate Teaching Assistant, Regularized Instructor, and Assistant Director of Expository Writing (1995–1999). Her teaching focused on Expository Writing I/IV, Introduction to Literature, and mentorship for English GTAs.

Key contributions included curriculum development for expository writing, advising through ENGL 805 Practicum, and leadership in K-State First (2008–2018). She also served on the Expository Writing Committee (1988–2008), All-University Career Fair Committee (2007–2017), and the English Department's Outreach Program (1982–1990), advocating for English education across Kansas high schools.

Recognized for teaching excellence, she received the Stamey Award twice and the Putting Students First Award. Collaborations with colleagues like Deborah Murray produced instructional materials and presentations. Her legacy emphasizes student-centered mentorship, intellectual curiosity, and interdisciplinary outreach.
