Nicolas Baldeyrou is the Buffet Crampon Visiting Professor in Clarinet at the Lyon National Conservatory of Music and Dance. A renowned clarinettist, he holds the position of first clarinet at the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra and has collaborated with prestigious orchestras worldwide, including the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Czech Philharmonic. His career spans solo performances, orchestral roles, and chamber music engagements.
Education: Began clarinet studies at age 8, progressing through the Conservatoire Municipal du Kremlin-Bicêtre, Conservatoire de Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, and graduating from the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse with the Léon Leblanc Prize for bass clarinet.
