Robert Pickup

Robert Pickup is a Professor at the Institute of Classical and Church Music, part of the Lucerne School of Music at the University of Lucerne. He is also the Solo Clarinettist of the Philharmonia Zürich and specializes in historical instrument performances with La Scintilla orchestra. His career spans roles as deputy solo clarinettist of the South African Broadcasting Corporation Symphony Orchestra and studies under Herbert Klein, Mario Trinchero, and Thomas Friedli.
