Erwin Bucher

Erwin Bucher is a Professor at the Institute of Classical and Church Music within the Lucerne School of Music. He serves as a solo percussionist for the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester (LSO) and teaches Timpani/Percussion at the university.

Education: Completed all diplomas (Teaching, Orchestra, and Concert Diplomas) with distinction at the Zurich University of Music and Lucerne Conservatory.

Research & Performance: Specializes in classical percussion and chamber music. Leads the Lucerne University of Music Percussion Ensemble and is a member of the Luzerner Percussion Ensemble. His expertise spans orchestral performance, solo percussion, and pedagogical methods for percussion instruments.
