Markus Wagner

Markus Wagner is Professor of Law at the University of Wollongong's School of Law, Faculty of Business and Law, and Director of the Transnational Law and Policy Centre. He previously held associate professorships at the University of Warwick and University of Miami. His global affiliations include visiting positions at universities in Colombia, Germany, South Africa, China, and Brazil, reflecting his international research footprint.

His research examines:

• International Economic Law: Trade governance, investment frameworks, and geoeconomic strategies
• Sustainable Systems: Regulatory challenges in cellular agriculture and food security
