Kevin R. Gray

Kevin R. Gray serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law, while concurrently working as an international trade lawyer for the Government of Canada's Trade Law Bureau in Ottawa with 18 years of experience. His professional focus spans WTO dispute settlement, trade agreement negotiations, and advisory services on trade-policy intersections.

Mr. Gray's research centers on International Trade Law and its interplay with domestic regulations, specializing in climate change, sanitary and phyto-sanitary standards, intellectual property, Indigenous rights, and government procurement within global trade frameworks. As an educator, he has instructed courses at the University of Ottawa, Queen's University (Summer International Law Program in Sussex, UK), and multiple UK institutions. He actively coaches the University of Ottawa's John Jackson WTO Moot team, which secured the international championship title in June 2023.
