Luca Forte

Luca Forte is an economist affiliated with ISMed-CNR and a PhD candidate in Economics, Statistics, and Sustainability at the Parthenope University of Naples. He holds a Master's in International Economics and Finance from the Catholic University of Milan. His career includes roles as a Researcher (2008-2020) and Director (2011-2020) at the Mediterranean Observatory of the SRM Study Center, a research fellowship at ISSM-CNR (2018), and Scientific Coordinator of 'Dossier Unione Europea' (2018-2020). His research focuses on international trade, energy policy, and regional economic structures in the Mediterranean. He has published extensively on topics like supply chain resilience during the pandemic, EU-COVID policy responses, and energy security comparisons across European countries.

Education: Laurea in Economics (University of Salerno), MEFIN (Catholic University of Milan). Teaching roles include courses on economic analysis at Parthenope University (2003) and international trade at the University of Salerno (2020).

Research interests emphasize Mediterranean trade dynamics, logistics, maritime transport, and bilateral trade relations with MENA countries. His work bridges policy analysis, regional economics, and energy geopolitics.
