Louis Setzer

Louis Setzer is a Lecturer of Low Brass at Northern Kentucky University (NKU), where he teaches low brass, aural skills, and music theory. Previously, he held the same position at Marian University of Indianapolis. He earned his DMA from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (2017), MM from Penn State (2013), and BM from Mansfield University (2011). His research focuses on expanding trombone and harp duet repertoire, culminating in his authored bibliography and the JOLO Duo's collaborative projects.

Dr. Setzer's performance career includes solo engagements with ensembles like the Indiana Wind Symphony and Richmond Symphony.
