Ryan Wagner

Ryan Wagner is an Adjunct Professor of Trombone at Saint Martin’s University and Lecturer of Trombone at Pacific Lutheran University. He holds a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Pacific Lutheran University and a Master’s in Trombone Performance from the University of Washington. His primary affiliations include the College of Arts and Sciences at Saint Martin’s and the Music program at Pacific Lutheran University.

**Performance & Roles**: A versatile performer, Wagner serves as Principal Trombonist for the Olympia Symphony, Federal Way Symphony, Seattle Rock Orchestra, and Kalimba: The Spirit of Earth, Wind, and Fire. He is a founding member of the Left Coast Brass and Oly Chamber Brass, and has performed with groups like the Tacoma Symphony, Yakima Symphony, and Bellevue Philharmonic across the U.S., Europe, and Japan.

**Teaching & Clinics**: Maintains a private low brass studio and teaches elementary band. He presents on trombone pedagogy at conferences (e.g., Washington Music Educators Association) and serves as an adjudicator for regional solo/ensemble events. Former faculty roles include Northwest University, Tacoma Community College, and Puyallup School District.
