Linda Adams is a Tutor at the Centre for Jazz Performance within Dublin City University's School of Theology, Philosophy, and Music. She is currently a PhD researcher investigating the effects of harmonic context on expectation in musicians and non-musicians.
Education:
BA in Jazz Performance from Newpark Music Centre (2007), M.Phil in Music and Media Technologies (2014).
Teaching:
Lectures on DCU's BA in Jazz and Contemporary Music Performance program, covering piano, harmony, arranging, music technology, and aural training. Previously taught at Newpark Music Centre for over a decade.
Research Outputs:
Published on MIDI humanization, generative composition, object-based audio, and music cognition. Presented research at national and international conferences.
