Hilda Milner is a recorder instructor at the Royal Irish Academy of Music's Wind, Brass & Percussion department. With a BA (Mod) from Trinity College Dublin (1991), LTCL in performance (1992), and MSc in Educational Management (2003), she has extensive experience in music education. She studied under Anneke Boeke at the Guildhall School of Music and Marion Verbruggen at Utrecht Conservatorium. Beyond teaching, she served as Director of Newpark Music Centre (1993–2000), where she established full-time jazz courses. Currently active as an examiner, she held the role of Senior Examiner for the Academy's Local Centres for eight years.
