Landyn Rookard

Landyn Rookard is an Assistant Professor of Law at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he teaches administrative law and civil procedure. He joined the faculty in 2022 after a career combining legal practice with academic contributions.

• Education: J.D. and B.A., both summa cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and Pacific Lutheran University.

Research Focus: His scholarship addresses fairness and transparency in administrative law, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of artificial intelligence and privatization in legal systems. His work has been published in leading journals such as the Texas A&M Law Review and Administrative Law Review.

Publications: Co-authored the Administrative Law hornbook (West Academic Publishing, 4th ed. 2023) and Administrative Law and Process casebook (Carolina Academic Press, 4th ed. 2020). His recent articles analyze critical issues in AI governance and federal agency oversight.
