Jüri Nael is a Professor of Contemporary Physical Performance at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (EAMT), where he leads the international Master of Arts program in Contemporary Physical Performance Making (CPPM) and teaches movement and physical performance to BA Acting students. He has held academic positions at institutions including Tallinn University, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Royal Central School for Speech and Drama, and University of Tampere.

He has supervised six Master’s theses and continues a PhD in Theatre and Drama at EAMT.
