Justin Boyd is an Assistant Professor of Art in New Media and Sculpture at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and Chair of the Sculpture and Integrated Media Studio at the Southwest School of Art. His work merges sound, sculpture, and multimedia installations to explore themes of American wanderlust, nostalgia, and the intersection of natural and mechanical soundscapes.

Boyd’s research integrates field recording, sound sculpture, and analog audio techniques to create immersive installations.
