Martin Rodriguez

Martín Rodriguez is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Art and Art History within the College of Liberal and Fine Arts at The University of Texas at San Antonio. He specializes in new media, performance art, and installations, with works exhibited internationally in venues such as the Capilla del Arte (Puebla City), Museo Soumaya (Mexico City), Hotel Pupik (Austria), and galleries in Washington D.C., Berlin, and San Antonio, TX.

• Degrees: BFA in Photography (2003), MFA in New Media (2018) from UTSA

Research Interests span new media, technology-driven art, site-specific installations, and interdisciplinary collaborations. His work explores the intersection of kinetic elements, sound, and performance.

He co-founded Un Grito Gallery at the Blue Star Arts Complex in San Antonio, collaborating closely with his wife, Verena Gaudy.
