Jay H. Song

Jay H. Song is Professor and Chair of Jewelry at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he has taught since 1999. He holds an M.F.A. in Metals and Jewelry from SCAD and a J.D. from Han Nam University. As a Certified Rhinoceros Instructor, he specializes in integrating digital tools like 3D modeling into jewelry design pedagogy.

His artistic practice explores cultural narratives through exhibitions worldwide, including shows in China, Korea, and the US. Awards recognize his educational innovation and artistic contributions, including Niche Magazine's Art Educator of the Year (2012) and SCAD's Presidential Fellowship.

Song frequently lectures internationally at institutions like Beijing Institute of Technology and serves as a mentor for Robert McNeel's Rhinoceros FabLab network.
