Heather Reyes, M.D., M.Eng., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Critical Care at the University of Rochester. She is affiliated with the University of Rochester Medical Faculty Group (URMFG) and Accountable Health Partners (AHP), and is currently accepting new patients.
Dr. Reyes earned her MD from Temple University School of Medicine (2012). She completed internships and residencies in Pediatrics at Golisano Children's Hospital (2012–2015), followed by fellowships in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Golisano Children's Hospital (2015–2018) and Strong Memorial Hospital (2018–2020).
Her research integrates machine learning and data analytics to address alarm fatigue in pediatric critical care environments. This work aims to optimize clinical workflows and enhance patient safety through technological innovation.
