Timothy Flerlage

Timothy Flerlage, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is affiliated with the University of Rochester Medical Faculty Group (URMFG), a network of over 900 providers certified by the National Committee for Quality Assurance, and Accountable Health Partners (AHP), a regional healthcare network.

• Education: Received his MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (2012).
• Residency: Pediatrics at The Johns Hopkins Hospital (2012-2015).
• Fellowships: Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at University of Tennessee Health Science Center-Memphis (2017-2020) and Pediatric Infectious Diseases at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-GME (2015-2017).

His research focuses on pediatric critical care and infectious diseases, particularly fungal respiratory infections. His work bridges clinical medicine with neonatal research and infection control.
