Dinesh Rajan is the Cecil H. Green Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Lyle School of Engineering, Southern Methodist University (SMU). He currently serves as the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Curriculum Innovation and previously chaired the ECE department for over 10 years.

Research Interests:
Dinesh Rajan's research spans wireless networking, information theory, and 3D computational imaging. His work includes probabilistic modeling of motion blur in depth maps, location-specific analysis for vehicular systems, mobile beamforming, and smartphone-based structural health monitoring. His recent work integrates advanced signal processing with real-world applications in transportation and infrastructure.
