Daniel Boner

Daniel Boner is a Professor and Program Director in the Department of Appalachian Studies at East Tennessee State University's School of Humanities and Social Sciences. His primary responsibilities include directing the Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Roots Music Studies program, which offers specialized undergraduate minors and certificates focused on Appalachian cultural traditions.

Professor Boner's academic work centers on the following research domains:
