Coleman Collins is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Art within the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at the University of California, Irvine. His work focuses on interdisciplinary art and writing, particularly exploring iterative processes and their long-term impacts. He holds an MFA in New Genres from UCLA (2018) and has participated in prestigious programs such as the Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture (2017) and the Whitney Museum’s Independent Study Program (2019).

Research interests include Electronic Art and Design, Critical Theory, Film Theory, and Black Studies.
