Christopher Michael Brunt

Christopher Michael Brunt is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of English at Syracuse University. A poet, fiction writer, and essayist, his work has appeared in prominent journals including Ploughshares, Oxford American, and Copper Nickel.

• PhD in English from University of Southern Mississippi
• MFA in Creative Writing from Syracuse University

His interdisciplinary courses span medical humanities, addiction studies, classical antiquity, world literature, creative writing, and theater. Research focuses on literary nonfiction, poetry, and narrative exploration of historical and cultural themes.
