Rebecca Lehmann

Rebecca Lehmann is Associate Professor in the English Department at Saint Mary's College. A poet and essayist, her award-winning work includes the Donald Hall Prize-winning collection Ringer and explores feminist, queer, and ecological themes through innovative literary forms.

Research expertise encompasses poetry and creative nonfiction writing, feminist poetics, ecopoetics, and children's literature. Lehmann employs inclusive teaching methods focused on helping students develop unique voices across genres. Publications frequently appear in prestigious literary journals including Ploughshares, Tin House, and The Kenyon Review.
