Valencia Robin

Valencia Robin is Associate Professor of Creative Writing at Hollins University, blending literary and visual arts in her pedagogy. An award-winning poet and essayist, her work explores identity and cultural narrative through multimodal forms.

Her collection Ridiculous Light won the Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize and was a Kate Tufts finalist. Robin co-directs UVA's Young Writers Workshop and serves as nonfiction editor for Orison Books.
