Chantelle Ribisi

Chantelle Ribisi, OD is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Rosenberg School of Optometry, University of the Incarnate Word (UIW). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Staten Island (NY) and graduated cum laude from UIW's Rosenberg School of Optometry.

Research & Professional Focus: Her expertise spans ocular disease management, pediatric optometry, and soft contact lens fitting. She completed a residency at the San Antonio VA hospital focusing on ocular disease and polytrauma, and previously practiced in primary care private practice.

Awards & Community Engagement: Recognized for academic excellence through national awards and scholarships, she actively participated in student governance (Vice President of SGA), clubs (SVOSH, Gold Key Honor Society), and community initiatives like vision screenings and mission trips. She also served on multiple student committees and worked as a tutor and lab TA.
