Farshid Amir

Farshid Amir, OD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Rosenberg School of Optometry, University of the Incarnate Word. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University in 1984 and earned his Doctor of Optometry (OD) from the Southern College of Optometry in 1993. He completed a contact lens residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1994.

Dr. Amir specializes in primary care optometry and cornea and contact lens management. His career has focused on private practice since 1994, with expertise in ocular health assessment and contact lens fitting.
