April Myrick

April Myrick is a Lecturer at South Dakota State University (SDSU), affiliated with the School of English and Interdisciplinary Studies. With nearly 20 years of teaching experience at SDSU, she has instructed courses such as Basic Writing, Composition I and II, Technical Communication for Engineers, and Juvenile Literature. Her research interests span English literature, mythology, and pedagogical approaches to technical writing.

Professional Contributions: Myrick served as faculty advisor for the Jackrabbit Jugglers and Unicyclers student organization for five years and coordinated the Emerging Tribal Writer Award. Her office is located in Room 303F of the Pugsley Cont Ed Center.
