Katherine Malone

Dr. Katherine Malone is an Associate Professor of English at South Dakota State University (SDSU), specializing in 19th-century British literature and culture. She holds an office in Room 410 of the Pugsley Cont Ed Center and focuses her research on women critics and the interplay of gender and genre in Victorian periodicals. She serves as editor of the Victorian Periodicals Review.

Research Interests: Her work examines gender dynamics in Victorian literary criticism, the evolution of literary genres, and the cultural context of 19th-century British publications. She contributes to interdisciplinary dialogues on how gender influences literary analysis and periodical culture.
