Anthony Williams is an Associate Professor of Trombone at the University of Northern Iowa (UNI), affiliated with the School of Music. He teaches applied trombone, chamber music, trombone pedagogy, trombone literature, and low brass techniques, while also serving as part of UNI’s jazz faculty through applied jazz trombone instruction and directing the UNI Jazz Trombone Ensemble.

Professional affiliations include membership in the International Trombone Association and the Jazz Education Network. His career spans collaborations with renowned artists (Natalie Cole, Aretha Franklin) and ensembles like the Memphis Symphony and Dirty Dozen Brass Band.
