Émilie Canet

Émilie Canet is a Lecturer in innovation management and strategy at Paris-Dauphine University. She is actively involved in academic research and teaching focused on managerial innovation and organizational practices.

Her research interests span across innovation management, strategy, managerial practices, start-up development, organizational identity, and management innovation. Dr. Canet's work particularly focuses on new managerial practices, especially the design and diffusion of managerial innovations. In this context, she also examines the emergence of start-ups and the dynamics of constructing their identity and managerial practices.

Dr. Canet is a member of the Dauphine Foundation's Innovation Circle and participates in the Managerial Innovation Observatory project. Her scholarly work shows a consistent trajectory examining how management concepts develop, how innovations are appropriated within organizations, and how organizational identity forms, particularly in entrepreneurial contexts. Her publications span multiple venues including Management International, Management & Avenir, and various conference proceedings such as EGOS Colloquium and EURAM.

Her research demonstrates strong interdisciplinary connections between management theory, organizational behavior, innovation studies, and entrepreneurship. The work often employs qualitative methodologies to explore complex organizational phenomena in real-world contexts.
