Research interests center on avian ecology, migration patterns, and conservation strategies. Recent projects examine migratory performance in birds, winter ecology of barn swallows, and biodiversity modeling under climate change.
His 2024-2025 publications highlight raptor predation at high altitudes and urban bird population trends across Europe. Collaborations span Sweden and international networks.
Awards include:
- Årets miljöhjälte (2021)
- Lund Science Student Union pedagogic award (2016)
