Àlex Muñoz-Viso is a PhD candidate and Research Fellow in the Department of Geography at the University of Kentucky. His work bridges urban, digital, and political geographies, examining how human life, technology, and urban landscapes co-construct each other. He teaches courses like Introduction to GIS and Digital Mapping, emphasizing cartographic innovation integrating human experience and emotion.

- Social Robots and the Production of Space (NSF-funded, 2020-2022).
- Blockchain Urbanism and Technopolitical Dynamics (2021-2022).
His publications analyze robotics' spatial impacts, blockchain's urban implications, and virtual geographies. He holds a Department of Geography Research Fellowship (2022-2023) and has taught GIS and mapping courses since 2023.
