Solange Muñoz is an Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in Human Geography at the University of Tennessee Knoxville's Department of Geography. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and has taught at various institutions since 2001, emphasizing critical pedagogy and inclusive education. Her research focuses on urban inequality, housing precarity, and racial justice in Latin America and the U.S., employing ethnographic and participatory methods.
