Iris Wallenburg is a Full Professor at the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management, Department of Health Care Governance (HCG), Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her research focuses on healthcare transition practices, governance arrangements, and the interplay between technology, professional roles, and policy. She leads national projects like RN2Blend and RegioZ, collaborating with governmental bodies and healthcare institutions to address staffing challenges and workforce development. Trained as a nurse and health policy scientist, she holds a PhD from the Free University of Amsterdam. Her work explores AI's impact on healthcare delivery and governance through her involvement in the Erasmus Initiative on AI’s Social Impact.
