Mark Halsey is a Professor and Research Section Head for Criminology and Criminal Justice in the College of Business, Government and Law at Flinders University. He joined Flinders in 2000, with an interim period teaching at the University of Melbourne (2005-2007). As Joint Chief Editor of the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Criminology , he shapes scholarly discourse in the field. His research focuses on youth justice, incarceration cycles, and Aboriginal social exclusion, supported by five successive Australian Research Council grants.
