Zachary Stine is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA). His work focuses on text mining, cultural analytics, digital humanities, and computational social science. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a B.A. in Religious Studies from UCA. Research Interests: Stine's research combines computational methods with social science inquiry, emphasizing textual analysis of online discourse. His work addresses topics like crisis communication (e.g., Euromaidan analysis), social media bot behavior, and legislative change modeling. He develops tools such as BlogTracker for tracking influence campaigns and uses techniques like topic modeling and agent-based simulations to study discourse dynamics. Publications: Recent work spans computational discourse analysis, geopolitical case studies, and bot behavior detection. His 2021 studies include blogosphere analysis frameworks and methods for differentiating discursive similarities. Earlier work (2018–2019) explored legislative change in Ukraine and language dynamics of social media users.
